Rainstar has been a successful female for our herd. When mated to a
good stud, she produced high quality female offspring for us. Her cria
included Aquaviva Stardust - probably our best alpaca who went on the
win Champion Junior Female at the 2004 National Expo and the Supreme
Champion at Ellesmere.
Rainstar has always delivered well proportioned and quality
cria for us. Stardust was 17.9 micron on her first shear and 19.9
micron on her second shear. Frascati, Rainstar's grandaughter was 17.1
micron on her first shear. So Rainstar is able to pass on quality
fleece to her offspring.
Rainstar will be sold unmated. If mating is required, then the cost of
the mating fee will be added to the price.
Although Rainstar's fleece reflects her age, she still shore
3kgs
fleece at her last shear. Both of her oldest female crias shore 4.2kg
so she has the ability to produce plenty of fleece.
